Compression Manager
| Background |
| This software was developed to help manage the large size of image files produced through the modelling of fauna and flora over large areas. This software was built using Python and uses 16bit png image compression to reduce the size of the image files. |
| Please note that the range of values in the input image is calculated in order to stretch the data between the upper and lower 16bit integer limits. This should preserve as much data as possible. |
